A new installment in the legendary racing series. As the title suggests, the game refers to one of the most well-received parts of the series - the original 2005's Need for Speed: Most Wanted. The game was developed by Criterion Games, a company well-know for the Burnout series. The remake resembles the original game when it comes to dynamic police chases and the so-called Blacklist, where the player challenges other most wanted drivers for races and climbs up their ranks.

The game mechanics remain the same, focusing on exploration, talking to NPCs, searching for items, and solving puzzles.

You take on the role of a chief of police who is about to retire. However, instead of safeguarding the law and order, he decides to use his authority and influence to make a fortune. The game takes place after the events of first movie, and the developers adapted not only the movie's visual style, but also the it's characteristic atmosphere. We play as Amanda, daughter of Ellen Ripley, the main protagonist of the movie. She sets on a journey to find out what happened to her mother after the Nostromo incident.

The game focuses on the American armies struggling against the enemy in Western Europe. It begins with the D-Day, the legendary allied landing in Normandy. The single-player campaign is very cinematic. When it comes to the multiplayer, it can support up to eight players.

The game's story follows the events of the first installment and takes us back to a fantastic realm inspired by Scandinavian mythology, where we take control of a caravan of men and giants, trying to survive the end of the world. The essential element of the title are the turn-based battles, characterized by simple rules, but also by a tactical depth.

You play as Jack Kelly, a former NYC detective who was framed for murder and demoted. Hated by everyone around, Jack is trying to reconcile his duties with conducting a private investigation in order to discover who framed him. The plot of Beat Cop is non-linear and its many endings depend on your decisions.
