A full-fledged continuation of a humorous shootout with elements of strategy, modelled on the cult Cannon Fodder series of the 1990s. In the game we again direct a small troop of soldiers, carrying out tasks commissioned by the command, such as eliminating the enemy, blowing up buildings or defending civilians. New in the game is the ability to face enemy vehicles and recruit specialist units such as medicine or members of the elite Delta Force.

Ravenmark: Scourge of Estellion is a PC-based fantasy strategy. The production offers only a campaign and emphasizes the fictional aspect. The game boils down mainly to large scale battles by means of a turn-based combat system, requiring the use of formation and taking into account the terrain.

Slingshot Racing is a racing game based on an unusual idea. We control quite inert cars and in order to pass bends we have to use a cannon firing the line with a hook and appropriate targeting enables us to make a spectacular slider.

Strategy 03 September 2015

The third installment in a popular series of post-apocalyptic economic strategy games developed by Nortway Games. Rebuild 3: Gangs of Deadsville takes us to the near future, to a world where a worldwide zombie epidemic has left the civilization in ruins and changed the big cities into huge cemeteries. The players assume control of a small group of survivors that attempts to rebuild one of the smaller cities and create a safe haven from the living dead.

A strategy card game set in the universe of a well-known RPG series that has been developed since 1994 by Bethesda Softworks. In terms of game mechanics, The Elder Scrolls: Legends takes after the competing Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and the gameplay comes down to dueling with a self-built deck of cards representing heroes, equipment, spells, skills etc.

A mobile RPG that supports augmented reality technology, created by Niantic studio in conjunction with The Pokemon Company. The application uses smartphones’ and tablets’ cameras to register the surrounding reality, then include additional, three-dimensional objects on it. We searching for Pokemon by following the instructions from our GPS. Other elements of gameplay aren’t much different from what we’ve seen in other entries in the series.

The money earned in this way is invested in the development of the club and the purchase of new cars. The title offers a highly simplified driving model, mainly by changing lanes to avoid collisions.

As in most CCG, the gameplay is turn-based, but quite unusually, the player’s objective is to gather more attack points than opponent.

The debut production of the independent studio Fiddlesick, combining elements of platformer and logic game. While playing, we assume the role of the eponymous hero whose task is to find his lost mother. The path to his goal is a bumpy one because his mother, a lady scientist who deals with color research, got lost somewhere in a monochromatic world. In the game, we traverse vast, single-colored maps, avoiding various obstacles and solving puzzles based mostly on color manipulation.

The player is once again required to build bridges and other structures, but contrary to the realistic, more mundane predecessor, Bridge Constructor Stunts focuses on building insane racing tracks for the drivers to perform dangerous car acrobatics in mid-air.

The game allows the player to assume the role of a new, yet perfectly known to the series’ fans character – a mercenary by the name of Chris Redfield, working for Umbrella Co., which deals with gathering data from the abandoned Umbrella facilities. Together with his companions, Chris comes to the Bakers’ residence to investigate its ruins and the underground tunnels.
