Solving the murder mystery in Open Hand Temple is a side quest in Baldur's Gate 3 that is connected to the main storyline. On this page of our guide, we show where to find the body and the list of murder targets.
Conversation with Lorgan
To initiate the task, talk to the halfling in Open Hand Temple.
Proceed to the room where his body is located, and then talk to the nurse. After that use Speak with the Dead on Father Lorgan's body (more on this topic on How to talk to speak with dead? page of the guide). You will learn more details about the murder.
How to find the list of murder targets?
Look for a hatch with a blood splatter next to it and enter it.
Look for a fissure between rocks in one of the rooms and go through it. Search the new part of the location and fight the doppelgangers. After defeating the opponents, you'll find a blade on a pile of rubble. To reveal it, make a Perception check. You will also find a flower key.
Go back to the halfling, talk to her, and then proceed to Sharess' Caress through the room where Raphael is found.
Jump to the nearby roof then circle it and enter the building through the balcony.
Search the room - you'll find a list of targets and a body underneath the bed. Collecting the list of targets unlocks the Impress the Murder Tribunal story quest and pushes Investigate the Murders story quest forward.
Return to Sharess' Caress and talk to Valeria. Show her the blade and the list of targets to be assassinated - with this, the quest is concluded.
