24-hour cycle in the game

1. In the game world, there are smooth transitions between day and night hours. There is no traditional clock in the game, but there is a text in the lower right corner on the map screen.
2. There is also information about the weather in the same place (a storm with rainfall in our example) and this may also be important.

How to rest?

1. You don't have to wait for the time of day to change, because there is an option to speed up the passage of time. In locations such as Na'vi Camp or Hometree you can find a Resting Spot - an example is shown in the picture.
2. Interacting with it will make you proceed to the next time of day (e.g. from the afternoon to the evening). The action is free.

Does the time of day and weather affect the gameplay?

1. At night, it will be easier for you to sneak into guarded locations, e.g. RDA facilities, because it will be easier to perform stealth attacks.
2. The mechanics of collecting ingredients from plants are strongly related to weather and time of day. Each plant has optimal conditions for harvesting - after scanning it with your Na'vi senses, read the "Best quality" information. In the example from the picture, it's rainfall, but it could also be, for example, a specific time of day. Meeting these requirements will allow you to obtain higher quality ingredients with better statistics.
