Mon Bazou is an unusual simulator and racing game, in which we participate in street racing, but also earn a living and tuning our car. It was developed by the indie studio Santa Goat.
Plot
Mon Bazou takes us to Canada. The action of the game is set in 2005, in the middle of the golden era of car tuning and street racing. The game's protagonist dreams of earning his own car so that he can be part of the red-hot local automotive scene.
Game mechanics
In Mon Bazou, we observe the action from a first-person perspective (FPP). The theme of the game is illegal street racing, in which we compete by getting behind the wheel of our own car. To win, we have to properly tune our four wheels, assembling better and better parts ourselves. In addition, we can modify the appearance of our vehicle to make it look better on the so-called "spots". Although the cars appearing in the game do not have an official license, we can easily identify their real-life counterparts.
For all this we need money, which we earn by doing a variety of things - from collecting and selling scrap metal, gardening and forestry work, to delivering pizzas or.... selling self-made maple syrup to participants in night street races.
Over time, more and more free cash begins to accumulate in our wallet, which we can spend not only on more vehicles (we can purchase, among other things, an ATV, a car with a trailer, and even a boat), but also on building a larger garage, capable of holding all our machines.
Technical aspects
Graphics in Mon Bazou game is made in a style reminiscent of low-budget productions from 2005, in which the game's action was set.
