- Jori isn't very strong on her own. Her melee attacks are quite slow.
- The boss has a number of magical abilities, which constitute her main arsenal.
- Her ranged attacks take the form of luminous beams. It is either one wide, horizontal projectile or a series of smaller ones. The Inquisitor also summons small tornadoes.
- Jori is a rather small opponent, which makes her vulnerable to backstabbing.
- During the fight, Jori will teleport very often. This move is accompanied by a small shock wave that deals minor damage if you are nearby.
- In addition to using teleportation, the priestess will summon the spirits of lesser inquisitors. They will attack you as soon as they appear. Try to ignore them and focus only on Jori.
- The key to victory will be proper maneuvering around the summoned specters, looking for an opportunity to backstab the boss and sensing the right moment to attack - the boss can't move while she is chanting the spell.
How to fight Jori, Elder Inquisitor?
In the first phase of the fight, Jori will shoot you with beams. Avoid them by approaching the boss in an arc and by doing rolls just before you get hit.
Direct attacks with the staff are preceded by a telegraphed swing animation. When you notice it, walk around the inquisitor from the side. Try to time it right after the attack or while she's casting the spell. Attack the boss from the back to perform a backstab.
Once staggered, Jori will fall to her knees. Use this moment to land another critical attack.
When Jori grabs the staff with both hands, it is a signal that she will teleport. Take a few steps away to avoid getting damaged by the shockwave.
If the boss is far away from you, she will start summoning ghostly companions for help. These are groups of smaller inquisitors (up to 4) or a single, large inquisitor. It is also not uncommon for both variants to appear at the same time. Regardless of who shows up in the arena, don't waste your time on ghosts. Run away from the spirits and go directly to Jori. The ideal moment to attack (and preferably backstab) is when the Elder Inquisitor chants the spell.
Jori will try to make it difficult for you to get close with ranged attacks. To avoid them, choose a path that follows a slight curve, keeping in mind the danger posed by the boss's smaller henchmen.
You will have to repeat the attack, teleport and chase loop several times. Although fighting an opponent who avoids direct confrontation can be tiring, over time you should be able to deal with the holy warrior.
