We finally know when Satisfactory, a game combining elements of first-person simulation with strategic mechanisms in the style of Factorio, will leave early access.

The Coffee Stain Studios team announced that version 1.0 of Satisfactory will be released on September 10th of this year. It was previously known only that early access will end in 2024. Now we have learned the specific date.

An early version of the game was released for sale in March 2019 (as an "exclusive" on the Epic Games Store; the title appeared on Steam in June 2020). Thus, it will take the devs five years to reach version 1.0. Accusing them of working slowly is difficult, as production was developing very quickly during that time. This is clearly visible on Steam, where Satisfactory has 97% positive reviews, showing how much players appreciate this title.

On the occasion of revealing the release date of version 1.0, the developers also released a new trailer, which you can watch above. The full release is set to offer many improvements, including a new base hydraulics system, which includes toilets where you will finally be able to flush water. The developers also boasted that Satisfactory has attracted more than 5.5 million purchasers to date.

On the occasion of the ongoing summer sale on Steam, the price of Satisfactory has been reduced by 50%, making the game available for purchase there for $14.99. The offer will remain valid until July 11th. It's worth seizing this opportunity because game won't be as inexpensive for a while. After the promotion ends, the price will be increased (from $29.99 to $39.99).
