Unlocking Elder Naytiba as final boss

1. Elder Naytiba is one of the possible final bosses. The battle against him will happen during the course of Selection of Species, a story quest taking place in Nest. EVE must make her way to the final arena. Before entering the arena, there will be a supply camp where you can replenish supplies, upgrade your equipment, or buy skills.
2. During the conversation with Adam, you need to refuse to take his hand, which is the dialogue option on the right.

1. This way, the battle against Adam will start, but he won't protect himself or respond to your attacks. After depriving him of his health and after a series of cut-scenes, the real final boss will appear - Elder Naytiba.

Fight with Elder Naytiba

1. During the fight, the boss may sometimes disappear completetly from the arena. When that happens, be ready for a quick parry, as Elder Naytiba will suddenly appear and attack you.

1. Elder Naytiba has a few weapons at his disposal. You can be attacked with one of them or even a few of them at once. If a red attack is incoming, expect at least 4 quick strikes performed in a row.
2. The enemy not only uses melee attacks - he can also fire projectiles if he is away from EVE. To avoid the projectiles, it is best to perform a Perfect Dodge.

1. The boss's yellow attacks include a ground pound that is performed after one of his teleportations. When that happens, wait for a right moment for a Perfect Dodge.
2. Elder Naytiba can also fire blue and purple attacks. React to them as usual by activating Blink (blue) or Repulse (purple).

1. As soon as he loses around half of his health, Elder Naytiba receives a new attack - bombarding the arena with projectiles. You can hold Guard to limit the loss of health points or perform Perfect Dodges to avoid it completely.
2. Another new dangerous attack is striking his blade into the ground. Shortly after this action, a shockwave is created and once again to mitigate it, use Perfect Dodge.

1. Elder Naytiba can, at some point, activate an insta-kill attack similar to the one you've seen when facing Unidentified Naytiba. You will recognize it thanks to the red exclamation marks. You must stop it in time to avoid being defeated.
2. Aim your ranged weapons at levitating objects and destroy them one by one. At the same time, watch out for any attacks the boss may use in the meantime.
3. Destroying all of levitating objects will make Elder Naytiba fall to the ground - quickly get close and perform a Strong Attack.
