In the Becoming quest from the game Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, you have to explore the area outside the Resistance headquarters Research Area. This guide page tells you where to find the footprints and how to properly investigate them.

During the course of Becoming story quest in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, you may have problems when trying to inspect the clues outside Research Area. On this page, we show where is the Burst Vein Pod, how to examine Na'vi footprints and how to cause the game to update the objective correctly.

Reaching the investigation zone outside Resistance HQ

1. At the beginning of the Becoming story quest, you'll receive an objective involving investigating the place outside of Resistance HQ Research area.
2. Proceed to any exit from the building and if needed, consult the map marker again to reach the mission zone from the screenshot.

How to find and inspect footprints?

1. To start completing the objective, you need to find Burst Vein Pod (screenshot) Interact wit it to start an investigation.

1. Activate your Na'vi Senses to locate footprints on the ground next to the Vein Pod. Don't follow them right away.
2. Instead, position yourself so an Inspect icon appears at the footprints - example in the screenshot. This will make the game display a message that Na'vi Footprints have been found.

1. Once again, you need to position yourself so Link Clue option appears (example in the screenshot). If you having problems with making the option appear, try to get closer to the footprints and point the camera towards the ground.

Unlocking scent trails

1. Only with this fulfilled you can proceed to the next part of the investigation. You'll be introduced to Scent Trails mechanic. They can appear on the screen only when Na'vi Senses are active.
2. After enough following the scent trails, the mission objective will be updated with a new one to climb the cliffs near the waterfall. The further part of the quest should not cause you such problems.
