You know, not every production needs to appeal to you. It is not a free game, so you are entitled to have some reservations about its quality. Especially since Baldurs Gate 3 is still in the Early Access phase, resulting in various, often persistent, bugs. Still, you have to pay $60 to play. The refund terms depend on the digital distribution platform on which you purchased the game.
Steam
To return the BG3 you acquired on Steam you must play the game for less than 2 hours. Additionally, you must do so within 14 days of purchase. The entire process of returning the game is as follows::
- sign in to your Steam account;
- navigate to "technical support";
- select game "Baldurs Gate 3";
- enter the "other expectations" tab, and
- finally, select "I want to receive a refund" and specify under what conditions the whole process will take place.
GOG.com
For a copy purchased through GOG.com you have 30 days to make a refund without giving a reason, even if the game has been installed and played (the store did not specify a specific time limit). To get your money back you need to fill out a return form (you will find it at this address). There, you must specify the order number you receive along with the transaction confirmation email and details of your case.
