1. The boss attacks you after reaching the Crater location, which you'll enter after leaving the sewers. After getting close to the crashed capsule, the creature will suddenly appear.
2. There is a supply camp in the area. Use it to rest, replenish supplies, upgrade your equipment, buy new skills, before starting the encounter.

How to fight the boss?

1. The fight against this large gorilla-like creature will begin with a QTE -you need to press X quickly to dodge away from the location where Gigas lands with a powerful strike.

1. The idea for this fight is similar to other boss encounters - attack with combinations and respond with Parries to strong enemy attacks. Gigas can perform several normal attacks in a row (up to 5) - try to block or parry all of them.
2. Keep attacking to fill up the Beta bar and use Beta skills that will help you drain the enemy's health much faster.

1. Among the boss's yellow attacks, we have a strong hit to the ground and a long jump that ends with Gigas landing on his back.
2. In both cases, it is better to get away from the area affected by the attack well in advance. Try to get back to hurting the boss after these attacks, before Gigas turns back to Eve or manages to get back on his feet.

1. In addition to melee attacks, Gigas has ranged abilities too. Among them, we have a yellow attack in which the boss hurls a large boulder - to mitigate it, try to sprint or jump away.

1. When it comes to blue attacks, aside from the color, the boss signals them with pounding on his chest. Wait for Eve's weapon to light up in blue to use Blink (analog stick up and Circle). Correct activation of Blink will teleport you behind Gigas's back.

1. When the fight nears its end, a Triangle prompt will appear. Click the button to begin a sequence where the boss is eliminated for good.
2. Among the rewards for defeating Gigas, there is a story item - Alpha Core. Additionally, you can collect a core, Gear, and rare crafting materials. You also meet with Lily, who will become your new ally.
