Observer: System Redux is a refreshed version of a psychological horror released in 2017, designed for ninth generation of consoles. The game was developed by Bloober Team studio.
Plot
The story presented in Observer: The Redux system takes place in Krakow in 2084. Although the game was enriched with additional threads, the core of the story has not been changed. So the player is playing Daniel Lazarski, which is an Observer - a policeman capable of hacking the minds of suspects. The actual action starts when he receives a letter from his missing son. He turns out to be an engineer at Chiron Corporation, the company that finances the unit the protagonist works for.
Mechanics
Observer: System Redux is a first person adventure game. The player mainly explores the next locations, talks to the NPCs he meets and performs the tasks. In addition, the game contains sequences of survival horrors. The hero penetrates into the minds of the suspects, becoming part of their nightmares.
Technical aspects
Observer: System Redux offers a refreshed graphic design with improved lighting and character models. Additionally, the game offers 4K resolution at 60 frames per second.
