How to Get Fiber in Aska
Fiber is a crucial resource in ASKA, needed for crafting many essential items and buildings. Here’s everything you need to know about this resource:
- Flax Bushes: These are scattered throughout the map and a good starting point for gathering fiber. However, they aren’t the most efficient source in the long run.
- Bark breakdown: You can break down bark in your inventory for a small amount of fiber. While this isn’t the most effective method, you can assign a villager to do it in the Woodcutter’s Hut. If you’re running low on fiber, prioritize this task in the menu.
- Flax Farms: As you progress, you can build farms and plant flax seeds. This provides a steady and reliable supply of fiber, making it the best way to stock up on this resource.
- Don’t break the Thatch! This material, found on coastlines, can also be broken down for Fiber. However, I strongly advice not to do it. Thatch is essential for constructing upgraded buildings, and it takes a year to regrow.
